Presentation by Ben Zimmerman, ABC first aid + aquatics
Originally aired April 15, 2020
Many aquatic staff are accomplished teachers and leadership instructors, but they only think to use those skills at the pool. With the economic recession from COVID-19 coming, there's no better time to start a side gig using your aquatic skills. Learn from someone who captured untapped audiences and built a successful and sustainable business.
Ben has 10+ years of aquatic and first aid experience in various roles. In 2014 Ben created his own company to put his passion into action. Ben is a leadership instructor with Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross and Heart and Stroke Foundation. From Swim Lessons, National Lifeguard Courses, First Aid and CPR Courses , Basic Life Support, Workshops, Workplace Training and more, Ben is always advancing his knowledge and certifications. Ben is in the final stage of becoming an Instructor Trainer.
